Hi, has anyone heard of/got this one:

Description:

A spectacular nightmare from the demented mind of Sean Fields.

The performer unravels a length of thread. He then immediately, and VISBLY, begins to SAW the thread straight into his throat! The spectators can actually see the thread deep under the performer's flesh, from ANY ANGLE!

Now for the REALLY disturbing part; the performer begins to pull the thread back through his throat! This grotesque; the spectator can actually SEE the thread tearing through the skin!

After the thread has ripped though the skin, there is no wound, no scars, nothing to see, and nothing to find. Just a hunk of thread, a naked neck and the memory of an unspeakable weirdness.

Sean Fields has created a deeply disturbing effect, and has teamed up with a somewhat concerned Rodney Reyes to make it available to those that like this sort of thing.

Yeah, I have this but was holding off reviewing it until I've performed it a couple of times.
DVD is nicely put together and Sean Fields, who manages to be disturbing and funny at the same time, explains it all very well - with plenty of tips and some alternative presentations too.

I like it - a nice alternative to Needle-thru-Arm. My only concern is how visible it's going to be on stage, but we'll soon find out...

Yeah.. that is the whole reason I bought the DVD is for the borrowed ring saw effect, and it is nowhere on the DVD.. (unless there are hidden features im not aware of)..

Anyway, I was very dissapointed that it was not on there, because I already knew how to do all of the effects... All I wanted was a handeling to do it with a borrowed ring, and it's not on there.

but about the saw effect itself.. It does kill. My skin is real sensitive, so it hurts when I do it, and I break out pretty badly if I do it a few times... It really messes with your senses, especially if you look in the mirror.. because it looks just how it feels.. (like you sawed a peice of thread through your neck)... But... I am still extremely mad that they advertise it that you can swallow a ring, but they do not teach it on the DVD.

I used to do something similar to this at the ending of my needle through arm routine. Good stuff

I know how this is done ( Someone here posted it in this topic, but now it has been removed ) and I don't think this is worth any money at all... If you but some of the "stuff" you'll need, you can even use a knive if you're carefull enough. No, I don't think they should be selling this.

A knife? It would appear you don't know how its done as that wouldn't work at all.... :?

Most likely that wasnt the correct way, you dont seem to know the real workings of this effect. Its well worth the money. And why should they sell it? You have no basis for your comments, since you dont even own it.
