Many stores sells different types of levitations.
Balducci, King Rising, and Criss Angel Levitation are the ones ive seen on ellusionist.

I own the Balducci and King Rising. I personally prefer the Balducci cause it is much easier to do on the spot. I hear the Criss Angel requries a small additional budget from around 100$ or more? not sure.
Thats my take.

This is where you can rad more about it...
http://www.ellusionist.com/order/Criss-Angel-Levitation-DVD.htm?cat=69
And this is the price :)

"Levitations can cost thousands of dollars, but now you can create Criss Angel's version for about $250 (including cost of DVD)! "

If you know all of the methods as you state, then you should be able to work out which one is best for you.

Never heard of the Witch levitation, but thanks for the tip!

Seriously though, you're trying to jump in at the top. As a beginner, excellent street levitations will set you back serious money and the ones you can afford will disappoint you. Why not start with some basic crowd pleasers and build up your arsenal of effects, confidence and "skillz" first.

But knowing all the levitation methods, you'll know that already

Criss Angel Method

Postby card_shark_2006 » Jul 9th, '06, 21:21

I really think you should go for the Criss Angel method. It is clean before and after the effect. It may be a bit pricey, but It's worth it. You can levitate on to chairs, benches, sidewalks and so much more. :D

You don't know mine  I can put you on a set of scales and make you weigh less without touching you or the scales. Seriously. Totally impromptu. Done in under a minute with witnesses taking your weight. I can even be in another room waiting for you all to come back screaming. No stooges, nothing to see... 8)

Wow now only if I knew that! Anyways, I personaly like Kings Levitation, I find Criss Angels levitation to be more angley than Kings. If you do go for Criss Angels Levitation, you might find that the money isn't the issue, it's putting everything together!!!

But hey I'm a noob what do I know? :x

Make me lighter please!

And yea Perfelti, if you know most methods, you should be able to work out which is best for you and which is not. Everything must be suited to the performer and while a lot of people may be recommending one thing, you may not find that recommendation to your style or taste. For me the Balducci is enough. That is the can-do anywhere levitation. But if you're after bigger fish, then Icarus or Criss Angel's. Then again, you're probably the best person to weigh the pros and cons of each method and deciding on the best method for you. 8)

I'd say the best one for the streets is the Wild Levitation from www.penguinmagic.com . It is totally impromptu and and the spec sees both feet clearly leave the ground.

The best impomptu levitation is King Rising. Great effect, no gimmick, clean before/ clean after

Yes, but Wild Levitation is improptu too. The problem with the King Rising is that you have to face sideways to your audience, wich generates susspision. Plus the King Rising levitation is easy to figure out if one foot is a fraction of an inch out of place. With Wild Levitation, all you need is a jacket/sweater/shirt and a pair of shoes. You face the audience and can even lean back so the audeince sees the scoles of both shoes! You can go much higher with Wild Levitation then the King Rising and Wild Levitation is much easier and harder to figure out. King Rising is good, but I think Wild Levitation is better.
