why does everyone else say different.
Probably just their personal choice. I bought the item in Blackpool from Keith Bennett and it came with a sheet of 10 tricks/ideas plus a shimmed coin so it was a bargain buy as far as I was concerned. I haven't had any experience or contact with the PK Wiz since that day so haven't been able to update any checks and comparisons. The big advantage of the PK Wiz is that there's a choice of sizes - as my fingers seem to be a bit on the large side, I can't get my neo on the third finger (yet!) so it has to go on the pinky which isn't the best place. Mrs.M has decreed that Mandrake needs to slim down a bit so I expect the neo to fit at some point soon. (Along with several pairs of trousers, four snazzy shirts and a couple of suits I bought 2 years ago but can no longer get into  !)

lucky you to find that deal davenports never give discount or give anything extra if you buy lots and no intarnet site has good offers.

o Krazy Ace and Catweasel...

It would appear NEITHER of you own the ring, and from your comments it would seem evident that if you can't see how useful this can be, you haven't the experience to realise the power of the ring to a magician.

seige - actually i own both a gold and a silver neo ring, and i am sorry but they do look like a bit of tubing to me, i fully appreciate the power of these ring's to a magician and though my remark may of seemed flippant it wasn't, i just did not think they needed any further comments than the one's i wrote.

the more expensive ring's would hopefully look a lot nicer which is not something i was commenting on. though i am not and have no intention of becoming a pro magician, i do have a deep interest and enjoy performing on friends etc, as such i have spent in excess of £2000 on this hobby in the last year alone and started buying magic products about 3 years ago so i think that i have some experience that is valid to share.

as far as magnets and magic go as i said i fully appreciate the power - i have just spent the last 2 years developing a gimmick that uses them (this is a part time hobby for me!)

hope that validates my opinion somewhat without causing further offence
:)

Hi there,

Just started reading this and wanted to post another advantage about the Wiz PK - I recently broke mine by being a little enthusiastic over a performance - Due to the lifetime Guarantee I had to pay postage and got a replacement! Very good service.
Plus it can be used for a multitude of interesting effects using 'Home Made' gadgets!!

Thanks.

I recently ordered a PK ring and the reasons for me buying this one were...

- I ordered the new style as I prefered the look
- I ordered it from NUMS as I trust them and have had problems from other sites.
- The information about PK's on the net was much more informative than that on the Neo
- The sizing on the PK is better for my, they go down to 19mm

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

Anyone in a position to post a comparison between the new wizard PK and the old £10 neo? I'm considering the upgrade... for power, but also for look - I presume being narrower it will look more like the SMS ring does; all I then need is to have a stainless steel ring gaffed a la Mercuring and I have 3 different effects with visual continuity...

Imagine it - I vanish something with Subterfuge, get challenged on whether or not the ring is m******* (is it really necessary to star this out now?! It's not like anyone doesn't know what we're talking about! Still, better safe than sorry), prove it isn't, then after nipping in and out of my case (or pocket) doing an easy coin in bottle trick, then finishing with Mercuring using the ring I've been wearing all along. Now that's utility jewellery :D
