Kind of noobish of me.

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Well, I've been searching for a card trick that I realy find simple and amazing, after many hours of searching I came across the "Do as I Do" card trick.. I must say I am amazed at the simplicity of this trick! And I am starting to feel some progress!!! I think this is my favorite card trick now! So, any recomendations for card tricks based on this one or that are simple???

Thanks,

Kevin

Well, for starters, that's not the traditional, standard version of Do as I Do - but things along that theme include Sean Fields's E.Z.P. from his book X-Rated, Richard Sander's The Alpha Deck! amongst others...if you are just starting out in card magic then pick up a copy of Royal Road to Card Magic and then maybe Erdnase's Expert at the Card Table, but that one's a little bit more advanced. Encycolpedia of Card Tricks has some good, basic stuff in it, as does Scarne on Card Tricks.
