In reference to "stigmata"

Postby r34l1ty » Jul 9th, '06, 16:15

So I've been working on the "stigmata", it is indeed a neat trick but I am having a problem. I unfortunately (because of my outside job) have very dark arms, so naturally the blood doesn’t show up so well. Any advice?

Sorry if I accidentally gave anything away.

Have you tried using your palms?

yeah you can also perform this on your palms which will naturally be lighter than the rest of your arm, good suggestion GoldFish :D. But i also heard that performing the trick on your palm doesnt give as much of a good result, in other words you cant see the marking as well as on your arm.

Hahaha thanks GoldFish, works much better on my palms, I did expect a little more from this trick, but oh well. I got it with the Banachek's PSI series so it's not like I wasted money or anything.

there are many other effects that u can use to produce a revelation on your arm from cigerette ash/ ash from burning a written prediction. Are these any good for what u want?

(If Im thinking of the right effect this will make sense if not sorry)

I use the folded business card to read the spectators mind!! I then get them to initial the folded card or "put it somewhere safe!"

When this is taking place I use the pen cap to do the secret bit!
this works best with a bic type pen, the results are much clearer but you have to be really on the ball with misdirection!
