Slush Powder

Postby Piers » Jul 12th, '06, 20:13

This thought has been nagging me for a few days now ...

Slush Powder can be great, at the right moment.

I've always visualised myself slipping some into a wine glass at a meal, with the predictably hilarious results ... ( maybe ?! )

But... how to 'store it' until the right moment.

Does anyone have any thoughts ?

Piers.

Be sure not to swet too much in your TT ;)!
Else, you could use a small flask that you could palm...

Have you actually USED slush powder???

Stashing it in a TT ain't a good idea!

I'd personally vouch for folding a playing card in half and stapling the edges to make a pocket. then fill with powder. Keep it classic palmed and a quick 'squeeze' opens the pocket and spills the contents.

Empty out a Chapstick tube by popping the bottom "turny thing" off, take away the "gunk", trim the "sticky-up spike" off the inside of the "turny thing" and wipe the whole tube out with kitchen roll (paper towels), pop the "turny thing" back into the bottom of the tube, fill it from the top and pop the cap on and you have a very discreet and innocent looking (palmable) storage container with a pop off lid.

Put you unused slush powder in a mug or cup with a bit of tissue rubber-banded over the top and store in in an airing cupboad...you'll find there will NOT be a lick of moisture in it within a week....break up any lumps you find and the powder will flow brilliantly and you'll get "full slush-power".

I'm not the one who started this thread but I'm real happy to found this new way. Thanks ;)!

You can use a TT if thats all you have handy, but I wouldn't advise wearing it...

Depending on where you're performing this might be appropriate -

I use a sugar packet, the type you get in coffee shops and cafes, cut it carefully extracting the sugar and refill with Slush Powder... obviously this will look very strange if you're in a nightclub or similar but in the appropriate surroundings...

A small Zip-Loc bag might be another way.

Postby Piers » Aug 4th, '06, 10:06

... or has anyone tried a TicTac container?

( Of course, If I were a 'lady', I would simply keep it in the place where I keep my 'ladies' things ... )
