You said 'specific' question? Perhaps you could ask a 'coherent' question, and we can give a 'specific' answer?

"can i ask a specific question?" is that a rhetorical comment?

anyway, my tips would be:
The search function
Royal road to card magic book...

ok i was trying to not get my post removed....

anyways.

when passing the card from the middle of the pack to the top, does it go straight on top or under the first card?

that 'specific' enough for you?

...it depends, if when replacing the spread and squaring the pack you catch your break one card up from the selection, yes it'll be one card from the top after passing...

...but normally, its straight to the top - occasionally for further 'controls'...

Try "Pass with Care" by Peter Cassford. I haven't tried it, but I've heard so many good things about it. I'm most likely going to get it within the month.

Just to clarify,

The Classic Pass will move the card from the centre of the deck to the top of the deck, if you wanted it to go one from top I would use the overhand shuffle control with a run after the pass.

Royal Road to Card Magic teaches all this.

I made my wife dissapear just by arguing with her!!!
