Playwrights?

Postby Renato » Jul 15th, '06, 14:25

So...any playwrights here on TM? Or avid theatre-goers? Thought that I would open up a little space on TM for anyone to discuss the theatre world. Favourite playwrights? Contemporary or traditional? Etc. etc.

Discussion for anyone - if anyone - wants to take part!

I dont get to see many, but I love shakepspere plays and films. I recently saw the rocky horror show too, which was great except they stopped you using the obligatary props (confetti, toast, cards ect)

I'm not a big fan of Shakespeare's to be honest...it's art, sure, but to me it always feels like I'm watching from a distance - outside looking in, and not inside looking out if that makes any sense :D. I much prefer contemporary stuff.
