Everyone's got a levitation, a coin through/into/out of something, a favourite sleight, etc. but what's the ultimate effect? By that, I don't mean something you've already seen done, but something you've never seen, that if you had no constraints would be your ultimate conceptual effect. I'm just thinking purely about the effect here, not the method. It might not be possible anyway.

For me it would be something like the following: You enter a room containing a stranger. Silently, you show a blank piece of paper, then write down a secret word on it and fold it. The stranger then thinks of absolutely anything they like. They then unfold the paper and are shocked to discover that you've predicted their thought out of billions of possibilities without ever having met them before.

Now, if I could just find a 100% clean, reliable method for use on complete strangers...

Have a think, see what you can come up with for your ultimate effect.

A complete vanish of any small object, that can be done impromptu without a jacket or sleeves or other clothing constraints. So basically some kind of technique or move that leaves you completely clean.

Surely a nail writer or similar is the easiest way to achieve your idea? How much more clean do you want it?

A way of doing it without them saying it.

I think the ultimate trick would be a 100% clean close up levetation, which is clean from all angles and you can hover about 2ft in the air.

And this could be done on the street with people all around you.

Now if that could be done that would be the ultimate trick ever

For me, the ultimate would be to vanish.
In front of their eyes, no cover, BANG!! suddenly I'm not there.

I don't know of anything that come close to that effect.
The Indian Rope trick would be the closest, but that was never really performed as described.

Yeah, but vanishes have been done. What haven't you all seen? What would freak even you lot out? Not methods, just effects.

It would be nice if there was an ultimate everything...AC, Levitation, Matrix, Hovering Card etc. etc. that way purchasing magic would be so much easier...and so much cheaper, too!

looking into a spectators eyes and they lose the ability of speech...

you then are able to say the exact sentence they were thinking of before, including their way of talking with appropriate pauses and so on...

after, they can talk again, but you can always finish off their sentences for them..

...and maybe to pluck out of a painting real objects, though that could be kinda achievable really if you had the money to develop it properly...

..howabout to sit behind someone and control them marionette fashion...possibly with a gun involved too...
