Cigarette burn TT?

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

I've just been out at a gig and I did disappearing lit match which went down so well it didn't melt my Vernet TT.

Cheers,

Isn't it likely to burn your hand?

Great tip about the foil guys. I'll have to stsrt using it. I have used a TT for a burnt and resrored napkin effect and not had a problem with it melting, but know what you mean about it getting discoloured though.

Thanks alot for the tips guys. Greatly appriciated. Does it take alot of practice to get good with a TT??? I am very good with cards and coins but ive just never bothered to use a TT. Should it come farelly natural to me?? Or will I have to practice quite a bit?

Won't work. The heat seals the ash into the TT, and it's never coming out. Protection is the best plan, prevent the damage.

Does it burn your hand to put out a cigarette in the normal 'stubbing it out' fashion?

Well I smoke and all I know is it you touch the ash it burns like crazy hahaa. Depending how fast you do it though. If you did it super fast with some spit on your finger then it isnt too bad. But you deffinitely cant hold it on your finger. Unless you want to use a gimmick.

Tyler,

Sorry mate, I have missed this thread due to computer problems. I use the cig in jacket, shirt or blouse all the time, yes indeed, you can talk women into taking them off to do a trick 8)

As previously said, put tin foil in a new one. You cannot clean out one that has got ash in it.

I suck on the cig to get it really burning and drop it in the TT, then I take it back out and suck on it again before dropping it in a second time. It does get people gasping in amazement.

But please take care, a very good friend of mine, sadly now deceased, caught someones jacket while putting in the cig. After the show he went out to pack his stuff and found his car damaged

PM me if I can help anymore.

By the way is D'lite a good gimmick to get?? I think I spelled it correctly lol. I have no idea what it is really. I dont use a hole lot of gimmicks for other accessories other then a few coins and some cards.

Does anybody use it with posotive feedback. Or negative feedback. I just want to know if its a good trick to order.
