Stripper Deck

Postby polcha2426 » Jul 19th, '06, 02:48

Can someone please help me with this? I bought a stripper deck on ebay (it is the first one i have ever bought), and i think i got ripped off! I think i got a regular bicycle deck of cards. I can see nothing special about them at all. Anyone have a thought on this?

If you do know what a stripper deck is, then forgive me, for I have been very patronising. :)

The fact of the matter is, if you BOUGHT a stripper deck, surely you KNOW what it is and what it is for???

If not, forgive ME for sounding condescening. But if it is genuinely a regular deck of cards, then you have indeed been ripped off.

The telltale sign that you have a stripper deck is to hold it near a polished vertical pole. If one card jumps out and dances seductively around it, you've got a stripper on your hands.

Otherwise, cut the deck and rotate the top half 180° laterally (i.e. don't turn them over, just rotate end-for-end). Then square the cards.

You can PM me with your findings, and I'll advise.

I got a faulty stripper deck that only had 51 cards and a faulty mirage deck that only had 24 force cards. I'm awaiting a reply to my email asking for replacements. If you bought them from a reputable company they should have a returns policy but not sure on ebay
