Is it a worthwhile trick to buy, is it easy enough to get the hang of it, things like that.

And if you can then Derren Brown has a good handling in his book Pure Effect.

Even with a good coin switch and looking after the angles, you still need to present it well but you can learn these.

I'd recommend an Eddie Gibson if you;re after a UK pound and it will usually set you back between £30 and £35 but they ain't easy to find.

try www.magictricks.co.uk they sell a Eddie Gibson £1 one for £28.99. I would agree with whats said before you do need to be able to perform a good coin switch for this and you need to watch your angles but its a good trick and gets a good reaction. I would also recommend coin bite as well which also requires a coin switch.

You could get the Belanger coin through cigarette - but that's only made with a US quarter, I think. It's angle-proof during the performance - so you can show all sides. However, to a degree, it requires better handling skills than a traditional coin through. Anyone who knows or owns this particular version would know why.

If you can perform a BOBO switch then they can be good. I don't hardly use mine, i have the £2 eddie gibson. The cig thru card is a lot cheaper and is ok actually. The Mark Mason one is really good and only £6.00

Do they do the EG version of the £2 or is it a copy?

There may not be much difference (if any) but it's the EG version that I want in particulr.

Thanks

I usually use the Shuttle pass taught by Jay Sankey on his No Card Tricks DVD(I think it was that one, I have quite a few of Jays DVD's) for this trick, you may get a bit of a 'click' sometimes as the coin lands but no one ever seems to notice it.

Come to think of it, there may be a variation of the Bobo switch on the same DVD...
