Dead culling the aces

Postby EuanBingham » Feb 5th, '06, 14:27

A genuine attempt at trying to emulate Scarne cuts the aces, using the 'real work' as it were. i.e. I really don't know where the aces are while I'm shuffling.

Fun to do!

Hmm strange lol, I can't view the vid through that link but when I go to your web page I can access it through the video link, which is exactly the same url as the one u posted
I even tried copying n pasting it into a new brouser but that didn't work too
Well at least I can view it, after several futile attempts, and may I comment that I watched most of your vids and it kinda makes me feel that I wish I could devote more time to practicing sleight of hand routines
oh well..... if only

Nice vids there m8

If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

That's what I did... still only like 3 seconds. It shows the four aces, you pick up one and the video stops.

FYI... it barely plays here either, stuttery.

Tried Quicktime, WMP, VLC etc.

Can't get past the insertion of 1st Ace into deck.

worked fine for me!

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Well usually I'm the one who can't view the vid or access the web page or whatever, but on this ocassion I'm ok
I've got WMP as my default player but my quicktime player kicks in to plays this.

I see you've tried it with your quicktime player seige, so I've really no idea what the problem is soz

You might want to update your video codecs if you're having problems viewing the file.

I finally downloaded it by creating a new page with the link and doing a right-click -> save as. If you'd like, I can re-encode it as .wmv and host it on my server - that should fix most of the mpeg problems.

Superb.

You performed all the 'cuts' and 'shuffles' cleanly and smoothly.

Absolutly great work.
