Has anyone got a phone number for emagic tricks? I can't find one on the site anywhere and to be honest I'm getting a little frustrated with a current situation.

I did an order on the 6th, it covers 5 different items and I notice in my order history that the order still hasn't been shipped. Twice I've emailed the most recent being 2 days ago and still no reply.

I'm sure they have their reasons but not replying to emails and not having a phone number clearly displayed is really not good enough.

Cheers

There was a glitch around the 5th of November with the eMagictricks site, which I believe was resolved. You should have received and email to this effect.

The eMagictricks service is usually second to none - and in fairness, if you take the weekend out of the equation, that leaves 3 working days delivery - which is perfectly reasonable (considering the ridiculously cheap postage).

I'd wait another day before you start exploding! Have you tried PMming?

Just a thought?

If you click on Contact Us at the lower left hand side of the screen you'll get to the e-mail page but there are snailmail details and a phone number as well - which are:

106 Radlett Road
Frogmore
St. Albans
Herts
AL2 2LB

Phone:
01727 872925 (12pm - 3pm)

PS I found on one of my orders earlier in the year that the Order History didn't show the items as despatched until a day or so after I'd actually received them. Also bear in mind that 1st class post actually means 2 to 3 days, there is no earlier guarantee these days although the Royal Mail do say they will endeavor to deliver the next working day.

Great a phone number

Yea Seige I would perfectly accept delivery tommorrow, however according to my order history it has still not been shipped.
Also yes I did know about and recieve an email about a payment glitch and I did give the little bit of extra information that was requested.

Finally I wouldn't say I'm exploding just a little frustrated, not so much with the time of delivery ( though I have got outstanding items going back to the 15th Oct ) but because I don't seem to be getting replies to email and then found I couldn't see a phone number anywhere on the site.

As to PMing who would I PM?

Our host, and eMagictricks owner, Laurence Jones has the handle 'support'.

He runs +++businesses, and is probably 24/7 tied up in being busy.

The site's shipping info never updates on time - a gripe. But the service, price and friendliness are always worth the wait, I feel.

Right Ok well it's handy to know that the "order History" information is not up to date, therefore maybe my stuff will arrive tommorrow. However my real issue was more to do with a lack of response to email.

Also bear in mind that there is a backlog of post thanks to our postmen being on strike recently. It may have been sent but is now waiting to be cleared from backlog

Jordan,

In the first place I knew it was nothing to do with the post because my order History was telling me that it had not even been shipped. That is now cleared up as apparently we can not rely on the order history being up to date.

However more importantly as I've said my main issue was the lack of reponse to email and as far as I know email has not been affected by the postal dispute.

Apart from no response to my last email about this particular order, I had an email a few weeks back telling me that a number of items were on back order as they were not currently available, I sent an email to cancel the back order items and the very next day got delivery of the items. Now I wanted the items so fair enough, but again I never had any reply to my cancellation email, telling me that they had now been sent or whatever. So this is the background to this current situation. If it had not been for this, I probably would not have thought too much about not getting a reply by wednesday morning for an email I sent Sunday night.

This sounds all very frustrating from a customer point of view. If you PM Laurence, or phone today, and put all this to him I would hope he will be able to sort it out for you.

Well since my email was motivated by the fact that my order appeared not to have been shipped, yet I've now discovered that this information is not to be relied upon, I think I'll leave it another day or at most two before I chase it up.

Thanks Mandrake for at least appearing to be the only one that can understand why I might be a little frustrated. :?

Been there, done it, ordered the Tee shirt, waited for it to arrive!

To be fair, I've never had a problem with emagictricks (or any other online magic shop) but I certainly have with some of the large High Street shops which deal on line (no names, no pack drill!) and communications can be awful in that respect. Am sitting here attempting to type with all fingers crossed that this matter gets resolved soon!

I think we all can sympathise why you are so frustrated - as we have all, no doubt, experienced the excitement of ordering and waiting...

It states on the site that items in-stock are normally shipped within 1 working day.

Regular mail can take 3 days.

Please don't despair - it's out there somewhere!

I've never had any problems dealing with anyone, but shear numbers dictate that even the best will have problems, even if it is only with a tiny percentage of orders and communications. I think you are just unlucky that it has happened to you in this case and am sure that all will be rectified soon.

Hi Happy Toad

Sorry to hear you have been inconvenienced. This problem with worldpay has caused us a lot of disruption.

The order history is correct on the system (and has been for some time).

Please PM me with your order details so I can look into it for you.

Best regards
Laurence Jones
