Penatrolux- Coin through bottle I created

Postby Salt » Jul 15th, '06, 03:46

created this illusion because I wanted to make a penetration effect that doesn't involve slamming or smashing. I wanted to make it melt through, as if it had been there all along.

This effect uses no duplicates, its highly visual and has ABSOLUTELY NO ANGLE RESTRICTIONS. Its fun and easy to perform, it'll fool everyone.

The name "Penatrolux" was inspired by the latin word- Penatro, meaning penetrate.

Is this ellusionist worthy material?

No slits in the bottle? Because a slit can still hold the water in... If it is a slit it's been done countless amounts of times!

Good luck!

If there are no slits then that's some nice magic - if there are it was still a good performance.

P.S. A book you might like - Kenton Knepper's Secrets of Indirection

Heyho ,
it´s high visuall 100% agree, but u should not mention "there are no holes",because the spectator wont expect this,so you are just selfpointing them to check out for a hole.If the bottle can be given away for a checkout - you did a very well nice illsuion,if not its kinda pointless to send a mail to ellusionist for this.
Wish u good luck with this ;)

Hmm. Looks good but can the bottle be handed out? Good luck with the ellusionist, i picked up a bottle and tried it but am pretty sure that the method may be like another trick. [Me fiddling aorund with the idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8GOnw24PN4 . This is just like a differnt entry basically to what me and Bronz have been working on and made videos of.]

It can be examinable, yes. But the bottle couldn't be kept and no way as examinable as say Abyss.

Well done. I'm not sure whether there is slits used as water doesn't come through slits.

If you are hoping to send it to ellusionist, then I think they will rject as there are similar effects on the market.

Still, brilliantly performed.

Well the bottle wasnt full of water, but if you read the comments he says it can be handed out.

it is EXTREMELY similar if not THE SAME to what me and bronz messed about with. That too can be handed out and inspected just as much as this can.

i dont know, im kinda new to this, but it seems to me that there is a slit, or a large hole under the coke wrapper so when you slide it under the label it just falls in2 place, just my .02, still looked good tho
