Steel Ball Thru Bolt

Postby PickAnyCard » Jul 29th, '06, 02:38

Just wonderd if any1 has something to say about this trick. There is couple of website that sells this, here is one:

http://www.worldmagicshop.co.uk/product ... 2f144b1911

Is it worth buying it? Just want some small easy going effect and this seems OK.

Hi,

Bought this trick a few years ago. It is ok for a little gimmick trick but I don't tend to use it now much at all. I think it's just a bit unusual to have a bolt and ball in your pocket at all so people are going to think it's odd too..

I'm not trying to put you off this but I'm just telling you my experience..

If you like tricks like this then look for one I thick is called 'needle through a matchbox' which I use all the time and people love it. In face it bugs me that everyone wows over this one and it takes no work at all but if I do a few tricks which I need to do blody hard special moves they go "Show me the matchbox one again"

Sorry for blabbing

Just found the trick on the same site.

Called 'Matchbox penetration'

Worth every penny.

Thanks guys.

Btw I went to my magic shope and they showed me the "steel ball thru bolt" trick. Well it seemed kind of difficult for him to do it, and I saw that this could be a problem to perform so I decided not to buy it. And I will consider to buy the needle thru matchbox.

From what I remember it is quite angle sensitive. It is not difficult to actuall yto the trick but to make the trick look good then it is a little bit fiddly.
