It's probably late/early enough to be Day Owls now  but as I'm still awake from Wednesday...

Watched Final Destination 3 on Tuesday night, there were quite a few problems with the movie (didn't notice them myself but seemed glaringly obvious once pointed out). I thought the deaths were suitably grim though, all I can say is I'm glad I don't bother with tans, or ride rollercoasters! It wasn't really as good as the first two, but then follow up horror films are often rubbish--The Ring 2 springs to mind.

Definitely gonna check out the choose their fate options!

Throwing open the Night Owls doors for tonight/tomorrow morning... going with the general film theme just wondering what peoples' top three films are. For me it'd have to be:

1) Shaun of the Dead

2) Back to the Future (Trilogy)

3) Goldeneye.

Nice 8).

Been playing around with my orange-backed deck as well. Some nice potential there me thinks.

Freddy Vs. Jason, pretty good I must say though nowhere near as great as A Nightmare on Elm Street. Man did that freak me out the first time I saw it...now I just laugh at that plastic chick being pulled through the window at the end of the film .

But some definite creepy moments in it, that's for sure.

yeah that bit at the end of nightmare on elm street is a bit cheesy especially since her body goes all stiff as she is pulled through the window but a great ending to a great film nevertheless.

Hellraiser scared the beejesus out of me the first time I saw it. Horror films don't do that for me anymore cause when you watch a certain number of them you get desensitized to it.

Have any of you seen Hostel?

I only really liked the First elm street, they got a bit silly after that. Mind you i picked up the whole DVD boxset for £19 in a sale. Could not turn it down really.

Elm Street always was a bit comic... once you've seen Johnny Depp eaten by his bed it could only go down hill from there!!!

I thought Hostel was a bit of a let down... it was more a make-up/effects movie. Nothing in the plot I hadn't seen before really. That said I always seem to get taken in by the hype - remember the buzz around Blair Witch Project? I was expecting something fantastic... all I could think was "enough with the hyper-realistic shaking camera, they were supposed to be film students! Get a TRIPOD!!!"

I'm getting increasingly irascible with age...
