You've been registered since April 1st, I see. I take it that in the intervening months, you've read the board rules...

It depends on where you are as to where you can buy the gimmick. In the UK, if you go into the Carphone Warehouse or Phones4You and ask for a Sony pro vanish kit, part number V4N15H.

If you're in the US then I suppose that any major phone store should stock it.

I would like to vote that all posts of this sort have at least one post by stephenmagic included in them - since his avatar displays exactly what I feel like doing.

He obviously cut a hole in the magazine with a pair of scissors he palmed, where underneath laid the phone in a secret compartment, pulled the phone out, glued a different picture on via a glue stick which he also palmed, and presto, the trick is complete.

Yeah and how did he manage to do all that without being seen?

He landed in his TARDIS, did a part at a time, then took off to come back a fraction of a second later. he repeated this hundreds of times, until you got the right effect.

Thats how I always do it anyway. ( With an added massive dose of Bull****! )

Guys and gals (now then now then  ) you know that method only works for timelords  Here are the true secrets:

1. Find a highly trained Monkey with a knowledge of magic.
2. Take the monkey to the Japanese wiseman who lives on the island of stop-making-pathetic-posts-asking-for-secrets.
3. He will train the monkey in the ways of this illusion.
4. The monkey will perform for peanuts or magic cakes so he is cheap to work with.

Hope that helps with the effect

You are all so damn STUPID! This is how its done!!

Its obvious he has the power to stop time. Thats how his tricks work. He stops time, switches for a gimmicked magazine, runs to the nearest phone shop about 10 minutes away, steals a phone, steals the card she is holding to see what it is, goes online and creates a wallpaper in photoshop.. he then uses a data cable to transfer the wallpaper to the mobile phone, puts it in the gimmicked mag, resumes time, pulls it out, stops time, swaps the mag back for the original one, sets fire to the gimmicked one to hide all evidence, puts the card back in her hand and she wasnt bad looking so he probably gets a quick grope of the bottom in and he then resumes time. I THOUGHT IT WAS OBVIOUS!? Jeez..

Sorry for exposing the trick mods, I hope you dont ban me :D
