Hello, I just joined this forum. I am just beginning card tricks. I was wondering if the Ninja series is the best to start with or is there another dvd I could start with that would be easier. I just read the review and they said that the ninja series might not be best for complete beginners. Thanks for any help.

Crash Course 1 & 2 or Born to Perform Card Magic with Oz Pearlman might be a better first choice also a good book such as Royal Road To Card magic would be my recommendations

I'm sure you must be getting something for all your plugs lol

Just for the record, I bought "Born To Perform" on the strength of your relentless campaign - I gotta say I'm glad I bought it

Now where's that bandwagon........

I cannot decide which to go with ... arg... I found a review site that says Crash Course will leave you more confident with the tricks it teaches, although Born has more... So hmmm

Personally I'd say start with Michael Ammar's Easy to Master Card Miracles volume 1 and the Royal Road to Card Magic Book. You should be able to get the pair for 30 quidish.

I think I'm right in saying that Xtreme Beginners is an xcm dvd, which means you'll learn some very impressive ways to play with a deck and zero tricks. Very probably not what you're after.
