Fraud By Daniel Garcia

Postby Dominick » Jul 29th, '06, 23:17

Well...I can't really request a review on this now, seeing how it hasn't come out...But the teaser will be out soon. I don't even know what the trick is about, yet I'm still really excited for it. I have several of Garcia's products and have been more than satisfied with every single one. So...I'd be more than interested to hear any information on this trick.

Thanks,
Dominick

Omg just the name sends shivers down my spine, I'm not waiting for the demo. This trick looks awsome. I'm e-mailing brad my credit card details right now!!!! I want this Bad Boy YESTERDAY!!!!!!

I cant beleive i have got by so far without this

Just incase anyone missed the heavily laced sarcasm, i cant beleive the hype some people are giving this effect. You may have some respect for the author but nobody knows what this is like at all. So you have no idea if it will be suitable for your performances. Lets all try to stay calm :P

I'm pretty sure I was calm...I was just letting people know about it coming out. If anyone needs to calm down, it's you :)

It used to be on the E homepage...They took it off for Silver Dream and it is nowhere to be found.

What a waste of time. That told me NOTHING about the actual effect itself. If I want to see flashy cuts and teasers I'll go to a cinema. While I'm in rant mode, that trailer represents what I hate most about magic. To me it's playing up to the idea of buy it for YOURSELF. It's kind of hard to put in to words, but it's taking the idea of magic away from performing it for people and putting it more on to buy it for yourself. This sort of thing is all too far away from the true nature of magic for me, and it annoys me. Either put a description up or show the actual effect in action.

Hear hear! I can't stand the ellusionist style of trailers. Stigmata was particularly awful - it had nothing to do with the effect, just fake-looking gasps. If they don't want to tip the effect fine, but why post video edits of nothing!

Do you think this would work with British money? He's moving some part of the dollar note or something.

As it's an offence to damage any money with the Queen's head on, would this trick be legal here.

I wouldn't buy this first without some info on how the trick is setup, or performed, which is unlikely anyway.

He's moving a part of the dollar...But I'm really surprised he would do that. I hate destroying money by having people sign it and such. Like you said, I think it's disrespectful and against the law.
