Ellusionist : Dvd and Download

Postby J0kerz » Aug 13th, '06, 17:28

When you purchased from Ellusionist you can choose between receiving a Dvd or getting a an Instant Download. I wanted to know if it's the SAME video on the dvd and the download? There's no extra stuff on the DVD ?

thx :D

Good question, but I don't know anyone who has downloaded and bought the DVD version too, so maybe Ellusionist are the best people to ask.

I wonder why anyone would want to buy the dvd and download together if they both are exactly the same?

I never said that I wanted to buy dvd and download together. I'm asking if someone know if they are in fact the same?

From what I understand it depends on the product. I remember seeing some that said that the DVD included a bonus section that wasn't a part of the download. But if this is the case it would be specified.

The benefit of the DVD over the download is obvious, (quality, portability, ect). Buying them together would be only ideal (IMHO) for those who need the benefits of the DVD in the long run but are too eager to wait for it to be shipped. Also, if you know your computer won't be around much longer, it is always a good idea to get the DVD instead of, or with, the download.

Thx, so you said that if there's something special on the dvd then it will be specified.

EDIT: ZOMG  I just checked what is their shipping price, its sooooooo high! I know now why everyone take the download and not the dvd.

I can't help wondering if their charge is so high to encourage download sales.?
