First..sorry if this is the wrong place..i looked at the rest and cant find a card magic section or any section that ud post something like this..if its in the wrong place feel free to move it or delete it or whatever The last time i was into magic i found a book at the library i think with a really cool trick in it. Sadly that library is 20000 miles away..i moved to new zealand xD But, i was wondering if anyone has any idea what the trick is callled or what book i find it in(i dont wanna know how its done..cuz it isnt done..it happens)

Basically the card trick works itself...i believe, though im not sure the spectator picks a card, and its shuffled back into the deck, and by a certain way its shuffled or something, the card will always appear in a certain place. Im not sure about this though.

What i remember the most is its totally self working, u dont have to do forces or sleights or anything. It just happens. The first liek 10 times i did it couldn't believe how it worked. All i know for sure is it was totally self working and u dont have to do anything but get the spectator to pick a card. And how the card is revealed, the magician holds the spectators wrist and pulls there hand over the cards, and they stop at exactly the card the spectator picked..

I know it sounds confusing but this was several years ago lol..If anyone has any idea, or possible suggestion of where i can find this trick again id appreciate it..it always got awesome reactions.

Don't know the actual effect you're talking about, by name - but I can think of a number of ways to achieve that result.

I can point you in the direction of some resources, but for the sake of exposing anything, pm me for that info. (telling you where to look in public will actually expose some of the methods used)

I can think of many numbers of ways to achieve those same results. But none of them with out any sleight of hand. I am interested in learning about that trick if you discover it. Think you could PM me if you find it? Thanks.

Sure, im gonna be calling my mom later and asking her to go to the library and look for me. Hopefully the book is still there. it also mite be one of the ones i own that will be mailed to me soon..im not sure :\
