It looks like a torn and restored band by Joe Rindfleish, that you can find in his book Elastrix 2 by Stephen Minch. Try calling Kaymar Magic, they might have a couple.

Not being funny, but it is a better trick that the video shows. There is no need for all that fumbling and bunching the band up - you can show the restoratioin much cleaner than that (where people might just think you switched bands as you ball it up).

I did like the breaking the band with his teeth though, so rock on for that youtube guy.

Liam.

Yeah. It is a pretty simple trick and could be done much cleaner. But I am not saying he did a bad job. I can't recall the dvd I saw the sleight in. All I remember is that the guy had a pretty bad mullet.

That would be classed as exposure - sorry.

Just reading through the posts above, espcially the bit about the haircut (!), would this be referring to Dan Harlan? He's done quite a few DVDs on rubber band routines so a bit of Googling with Dan Harlan as the key words might be worthwhile - best of luck  !

It's available on Bandshark (Dan Harlan), The magic of Michael Ammar (that's a book) and Elastrix 1 (and I'm sure a few other places..)
