I love the mixture of comedy and magic.
Jay Sankey is dynamite in combining this and I'm sure a lot more.
It's also funny that you mention a toaster, because last year I saw a great comedy-mime-juggling-magic show called
The Sneedles
They are Wolfe Bowart and Bill Robison and in their show they manage to combine Buster Keaton, Monty Python, Houdini and Ring Circus into a great show.
AND... in one of their acts, one of them throws slices of bread from a distance and the other one
catches them with a toaster. Then they threw some slices to the audience which threw them back, to be caught in the toaster
