To be honest I don't have many problems with separating mine - I carry the necessary thingummy with me anyway and it takes only a second to to the job

You use a thingummy? I didnt even know there was one. I assume you mean as in scotch and soda, but I found that the CU's are fairly easy to reset anyway (just as long as you have them the right way up - and you arent trying to reset an ordianary coin!!!!! - yes I have  ).

it doenst take a S&S thingummy to reset it.... try using a normal penny, can be done one handed and in your pocket....(easy Mandrake) hehe

Ever since I had problems doing the same process with the Colour Chips effect, I've carried a thingummy. Actually, it keeps all the newer copper coins nicely together - great when you need to produce change but painful if you inadvertently sit down on the lump. (Yes, I have!!!)

I use a penny to reset it, but not sure what looks I'd get if i tried to do it one handed in my pocket. You'll be getting a reputation mogs.

...I remember many years ago, a certain pro Magician - or should that be Magiciene, ahem, did the 'splitting' of this coin (10p / 2p) in full view of the TV camera, surrounded by kids, sat at a table. I was gobsmacked to say the least.

I'm almost sure the show was live and was definately for kids on a Sat. morning. Anyone else see this :?:
