invisible palm (vanish at end?)

Postby nvus » Sep 7th, '06, 01:36

the first time i saw the invisible palm (before i got into magic) it was performed by this guy (sorry dont know his name) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v1Yg954-nU

i was so amazed so i decided to watch it over and over and over until i finally figured out how to do it

i wanted to see if other people were doing the exact same routine and i found a few videos where they dont use the deck at the end...instead they make the last card vanish somehow and i DONT KNOW HOW THEY DO IT >.<

its really frustrating cause it looks like camera editting or something but i know its not

an example of the vanish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iNNsroNFtg

before anyone mentions it, there is NO black colored card that he just drops onto the mat at the end because here's another person performing the vanish at the end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MnIrzNcckI

Wow I think there's a Invisible palm Fest on this forum. 3 threads on this in like less then a week. Please search before posting. After reading your post twice I could'nt figure what your asking for? You want to know how to do this vanish? If yes, then your on the wrong forum. Plz clarify your thinking...

you see, this is exactly what I'm always saying about doing invisible palms, you should use that total vanish for the final card, since you've repeated the same thing twice already it's nice to give the last one something extra. i could put you on to names of vanishes but there's a chance just saying the name might class as exposure so i'll leave it be. buy some magic books/videos. i think i guy called Mr Chevrier offers some tuition in how to do the invisible palm in the method you want, try hunting him down (and then pay him!); would be my advice, he does what i believe is the greatest invisible palm i've seen
[/lawrence's much repeated rant about the invisible palm]
