Hi Gunnar
Mark is pretty much spot on with his replies
Nothing before 7pm on Friday night.
Doors open 10am Sat & Sun with events starting shortly afterwards.
On the Saturday the Close Up Competition is in the morning with lectures in the afternoon
On the Sunday the morning starts with The Close Up Gala Show followed by lectures in the afternoon.
Lectures finish on both days by 6:30 so theatre can be prepared for the Gala Show.
Gala Shows are open to the public as well. There tend to be more public on the Saturday night show than the Sunday show-so expect applause in different places depending on which night you choose
Dealers deal over the counter and most take credit cards.
TM Member Will Houston will be performing and presenting his first lecture at the Convention following his great appearance and well deserved award in last years Competition.
Added to the bill this week are Luke Jermay, David Sousa, TJ, and Lex & Alina.
Full details of the line up can be seen at
http://www.internationalmagic.com/pages/convention.html and we should have the completed timetable up ina couple of days.
If you can wait till then there may be an extra bit of news that might sway you as to whether to attend the Gala Show on the Saturday or Sunday night!
To Kati-£75 for 14 hours of shows and lectures works out as just over £5 per hour (not including social time with all TMers) Does that make it more palatable?
