Anyone know where to get replacement thread for the 'Hummer Card Effect'?

Many thanks,

Any IT would do.

I find that I prefer to use Kevlar for it (which is stronger then the more common wool (?) based one), It just makes me feel safer.

Ammar uses elastic IT, never tried it, probably a whole different feeling, but it looks just as good.

Thanks for your reply

Does anyone know of any household stuff you can use? Or perhaps a particular type of IT that can be bought from a knitting store (or whatever they're called these days) :D

I was at a lecture by Michael Ammar last year and he recommended 'woolly nylon.' I asked at the local haberdasheri (I think that might be the right word for knitting shop) and they sold me a reel of woolly nylon. I couldn't really get on with it, and never managed to strip any IT from it.

I suspect woolly nylon is different in the UK to the US. That, or my patience ran out too soon.

There is one other place that you can strip IT from, but, in all honesty, I'd rather not tell you because I bought Ammar's ETM Thread Miracles for a good £25 before I found out, and I'm not about to start shouting from the tree tops about it and give it all away for free!

In interests of fairness, I bought the DVD long after the lecture. The two occurences are not linked in any way.
