The secret is explained very well indeed on the instructional DVD. You should not have a problem with this if you actually own it!

you got a DVD? Mine's a booklet.

Regardless, the instructions explain everything very clearly indeed and there's no switch involved. That's partly the beauty of the effect.

Actually - I don't own it. I was thinking of buying it and someone I know showed me the effect and then the secret. It was in a DVD sized case so I assumed that the instructions were on a DVD, as they usually are these days.

It's a nice effect but not one that suits me.
