Would you mind popping over to the introductions section and doing the neccessary?

No one knows from this post if you'll even understand the replies, you see.

And no one is about to expose a method, anyway...

I don't know myself, never use the things, but it's often considered best if you avoid the text language and introduce yourself in the Introductions forum. That way people can guage what will be best for you.

What he means is that it's a very good idea to introduce yourself and tell us a bit about you rather than just ask questions right from the word 'go'. Very often there isn't a simple clear cut answer and it helps to know what kind of effect or magic you do or intend to do with loops. Each kind has pros and cons and there's a third alternative where you make your own. All such things can be mentioned if you pop over to Introductions at some point and make yourself known - see how the others have done it and you'll be on the right lines. It’s also a good idea to use plain spell-checked English rather than abbreviations or TXT speak. Check out the Stickies which will give you the full details. Welcome to TM anyway!

yeah.. just give a brief introduction of yourself in the introductions forum and people will start replying to your questions. and please change that attitude of yours where you feel that introducing yourself is not related to your questions. if you want satisfactory replies, it is advisable to first introduce yourself. i did not know about this too when i first joined TM. take it as a culture here and it is only polite to introduce yourself before we can answer your queries and requests.

Yigel's loops are the _only_ authourised version - he paid Finn Jon for the rights to make and sell them.

If you buy any other loops you will be getting an unauthourised rip off. The call is entirely an ethical one, but I'm sure you will do the right thing.

Take care, Ian

I also recommend getting his 'animated miracles' book, this has some great routines.

If you do use loops alot I suggest buying some IT and making your own. I got the STEALTH system of tying loops from www.nothingupmysleeve.co.uk and once you get the knack you can run off a loop in a minute.
Getting the knack took a few minutes and now having loops is both cheap and easy.
