now if you could do it quicker i'd be more impressed. holding a big sheet in one place just screams "I'm covering this up so something can go on behind it". tis my only critisism. just needs to be quicker

Quicker is one thing, but if it takes that long..add more element of suprise.

say on the bike vanish..

Tell that you will vanish the bike.

Now, Still have the bike vanish, but... have 3-4 people APPEAR.

If done a tad quicker.. the lenght wouldn't be so much, with a bigger ending.

Instead of audience focusing that the bike was just gone under long cover.. they would be more focused on "who" was hiding the bike. - maybe even how they got there

just my 2 cents.

 You might want to study how Franz Harrary does it if you really want it to look good but, in that cash is probably a concern I'll point you towards a "poor magician's" method... look in the Tarbell books for the Triangle Base, there are many ways of adapting this concept that will allow your vanishes to be much faster, easier to deal with, etc.
