can anyone .. tell me some good magic tricks that are good for a begginer

( please note money isnt a worry )

I think it's generally accepted that a book or DVD of techniques you can build up into tricks are better than buying individual packet tricks or other gimmicks.

A lot of the time, with individual tricks you spend a fortune on something that is very limited in scope without a lot of thought. So until you settle on a style and get used to performing, it's better to go for techniques.

1) Part of learning magic is to do some leg work, reading and research for yourself. That is what the information on this thread will hopefully help you to do - it is not so you can sit on your hiney and get other folks to do the hard work for you

There's a lot of it about. They're after the Pope's blood too, you know. On the serious side, it wasn't aimed at you. Think tongues stuck inside cheeks and all will become apparent. :wink:
