hello people. me and my mate luke have devised a *new* coin routine, called the wild wild wirral. we both like it, and it gets good reactions most of the time. but we feel it needs something else. tips and comments are welcome thanks.

two spectators present a coin each. they both right they're initials on them. luke then says "right, sophie, your my partner, and amber, you mikey's partner. now, have you ever heard of the wild wild west?"
no doubt they will say yeh. then i say "well this is the wild wild wirral." (we live on the wirral.) we then ask them to hand us they're coins and step back. because it could be dangerous. then we square up, turn around and take five strides each. turn back round and "throw" the coins at each other. i catch luke's partner's coin in my mouth and luke does the same.

sounds pretty nice if you ask me. you could add a whole "this town aint big enough for the two of us mikey!" kind of bit to it. just add a load of patter or something. showmanship it up guys!

thanks mate. yeh. we'll work on the patter a bit. the whole thing is a bit short. so yeh that would be good.

question:

is this just two people throwing two coins into each others mouth or did i miss something?

erm. thts the jist of it.
we wanted to do a bullet catch. but that in the street. probably get nicked.
so we decided to think of somethin...similar.

blood capsule?

fake tooth (or tic tacs at a push)?

then cough up some blood and coin and pretend to snuff it...or as you die, you can slowly poke your tongue out with the coin on it...

Sounds like a pretty nice trick. A good "street" version of the bullet catch.

oh yeh. if anyone is thinking what i think they're thinking, it's not a poxy underarm through and arms length away. i'd say we're a good 30 feet away from each other. and we *launch* the coins at each other. lol

yeah, i can imagine most of us know how you do it, it's actually quite a nice idea and i might steal it from you. oh, did i say steal, i mean....er....er.... can i steal it?

i believe the term you are looking for is..borrowed.. lol. and yeh sure. it's probably been done before. er i mean, its probably not been done before.
so give all props to double trouble lol

I really like this idea - and if you are out 'on the pull!' It could be a great opener!!
I agree that blood capsules would be good or even a production from your eye (gross but funny if one of you 'Misses' *ahem*)
I'm gonna borrow this idea too I think - and all royalties to where??
