More non card magic

Postby EckoZero » Sep 23rd, '06, 02:06

I learnt this trick ages ago but until recently I haven't had much opportunity to perform it.
However, now I work as a cook in a canteen... I have lots of opportunity to practice and perform it!

So here it is....

All the usual comments and criticisms will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys

[edit]Can someone also tell me the name of this cut please? Thanks! http://media.putfile.com/Untitled-0012-57 [/edit]

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Yes, it's a nice "off-guard" trick called Stirring Silver. I got it on Sankey's Greatest Hits and it always gets good 2nd look, because people never imagine you can put the ring or take it off the wider end of the spoon. :)

Coolio badboy I like that manner of thing. The taking off part was the best I thought, the first bit had maybe too much cover for my liking. Very good though I can see that causing spectator consternation.

I perform that one ALL the time. Loved that bit about the pudding.

Ah Dominick... was wondering how long it would take you to show up :P hehe. Glad you all liked it.

As for there being too much cover for the first part, I'd say i actually agree with that, but I guess thats from my point of view. Spectators don't give it a second thought which makes everything run all nice and smoothly :D

Thanks for the comments guys!
