Hi everyone,

Hi moodini, whats your fav card trick?

Mines sam the bellhop.

I also do a small amount of manipulation on stage which is basically used as a gag for a run up to having a spectators signed card appear inside a kiwi.

That often depends on the situation......

when doing street/roaming magic I love Twisting the Aces - I use the regular handling, but use the A-2-3-4 of spades - I find it is more visual that way......

If I am table hopping, I find jumping gemini to be a really big hit.....Immaculate connection is also a great trick, and often my favourite closer of a set when doing restaurant work....

Signed card to wallet is great in any situation......

Cards

Postby flash_da_magic_man » Sep 27th, '06, 18:48

I've been looking for a good wallet for the signed card to wallet.

What one do you use?

A few people have recommended the mullica wallet which doesent require palming but I was actually quite hoping to get one that does require palming.
I just get so much more satisfaction from my magic when it is done with sleight of hand as oppose to using a gimmick or a gaff.

Mine does require palming....but like you that is part of the enjoyment from my side of the effect! I will look up the brand/style name of mine...I received it as a gift from my wife, so never really looked at it....it is a good leather wallet thought, and the great thing about it is that it works as my regular wallet, so I am always ready to go......fun to do with someones credit card.....tenkai vanish and put it into your wallet!

Yeah thats the beauty of it isnt it?
If its your actual wallet your ready to go no matter what.

Do you use it at the end of an ambitious card routine?
That seems to be a popular place to use it.

End of an ambitious routine, as a stand alone effect, with signed coins, drivers license, credit cards......in any situation possible. I have dabbled in an entire ambitious card routine where rather than relocating to the top of the deck, it moves to pockets, my wallet, empty card case on the table, and my shoe----not sure if you are familiar with "Kicker" from penguin magic....

Nope dont know 'kicker' I gather thats the one when it goes in your shoe?

I've seen david blaine do that but on his video the cop goes inside to take his shoe off and I was a tad suspicious.
