Many moons ago well last year i was in Devon on hoilday in a hotel anyhow i got talking to the entertainer who was also a "magician" i use that term loseley anyhow we was discussing magic like you do and i showed him triumph and he was knocked back. Unusal for a working chap not to know the Vernon classic anyhow we was talking about his show in the hotel on the friday where he had to borrow my bikes cos he didnt have a deck of bikes, so he was up there and done his spagly jacket mentlsim routine with a you will chose this card prodiction. Now the night before we disgused the £5 burnt in an envolope and told him what i would do is use a TT and then produce it from some oens wallet or a cig. His attitude was i dont need to i can just uise slight of hand. So night of his show the burnt envolope with a fire. he goes to put the fiver in the envolope and dropes it picks it up dose the move. sets fire to envolpe and the envolope stoped buring and he made a total hash of reproducing the note.

so i was wondering have you ever given adivce to some one about an effect but decided there way was the best then you went on to see them to c**k up greatly

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

No.

I wouldn't offer advice to another working magician - if they cocked up then they can't blame me. Any magician having to borrow a deck of cards to work with at a gig where he has been booked is a sure sign of incompetance in my book.

Someone once said, and I can't remember who, that sawing someone in half was very easy. Putting them back together again is the hard bit.

This line always makes me chuckle as it's one of those questions that lay people frequently ask me when finding out that I'm a magician and I must confess to always using it when asked this question.

The other great line when someone says "how did you do that" and you reply "Very well" :)

an old line i sometimes use before doing a real card trick is:

"ok, name any card!"
"you won't believe this but that was the card i was thinking of!"
Let then groan then hit them with the magic.

Speaks volumes per se, if you ask me

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??
