Hello

Postby brigsy » Oct 5th, '06, 13:14

Just joined the forum having found it yesterday. I have been a fan of magic from when I was a kid. I used to save all my pocket money to buy those Paul Daniels tricks in the late 70's. Wish I still had them they might be worth something! I love close up magic mainly card tricks. I have more bought more gimmics than I can use! I am trying to learn tricks that use sleight of hand rather than gimmicks these days

. I am still pretty bad at it all but enjoy myself. Only perform to friends and family.

Hello Brigsy and welcome to TM.
I know the feeling. You see a nice trick, buy it and then it turns out to be so "badly gimmicked" that you couldn't even fool your dog when you show it. :)
Sleight of hand are so nice and being able to perform with a borrowed deck is magificent!
Well, as long as you are having fun, the goal is reached
Greetings from Iceland!

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
