My card prediction

Postby Mooch » Oct 7th, '06, 17:17

Hey,
I'm pretty proud of this trick. I'm sure there are already hundreds out there, but I came up with a method of doing the classic card prediction, but using no forces, gaffs or gimmicks. The box (in this case, but can also be an envelope, wallet or whatever) is shown to have only one card or written prediction inside, and can be examined. It is totally normal, you could go out and buy a deck of cards or an envelope and simply use that for this trick. The box can be held by the spectator for the entire duration of the trick, and can be opened by them. They can also remove the card and turn it over to show that it matches the selected card.
When selecting the card, no gimmicks or forces are used. It is a 100% free choice by the spectator.

Hope you like it, my friends definately did ;)
Again, comments/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks again :)

Very nice buddy! You say no forces, so could you have the spec simply name a card or must it be selected? Anyway great trick!

Thanks! I'm really glad that you like it so much :D
Unfortunately the card must be selected, but they can select any card at all from the deck.
Thanks again, I really appreciate all comments :)

Nice trick! I tought at first it was a deck of 52 identical cards. There's a 100% free choice but there's also a 100% chance that he pick the 2 of hearts :P But you said no gimmick, so gj !

Thank you!
If only I thought of using 52 identical cards in the first place, would make it a lot easier to perform ;)
Thanks again, I'm really glad that you like this trick.

Thanks Mike, glad you like it :D
I'll try to get some videos with audiences soon, it's just that I don't have a digital video camera yet. I will try to get something sorted soon though.
As for the cards, they came witha Cribbage set I got ages ago and never used. At least I put the cards to good use ;)
