The world famous 11p trick

Postby bronz » Oct 6th, '06, 18:36

It's been a while so here's my favourite trick at the moment. Apologies for the sound by the way, it sounds fine on my computer but youtube seems to somehow muffle it. Oh well.

Very nice trick and good sleight of hands.
I got some error message at first, but a few minutes later YouTube seems to be working again.

Perfect! Very very well done! It is a great trick keep it up buddy.

I'm currently trying to think of some other final loads (instead of the pot of jam). I get that it's supposed to be weird or whatever but it just doesn't sit well with me...

Very nicely done. I like the patter of this trick too, and the involvement of pot of jam feels very 'British' 8) .

Is that DVD worth getting then?, i fancy it, good reviews but the video demo gives away nothing.

Aww you guys! I did this three times to the same group of people on saturday (to different people that hadn't seen it each time) and even those who'd seen it already loved it for the sheer joy of the look on the participant's face when that jam drops out.

Mahoney, I've looked for other ideas for the final load as well but the jam is the best so far for me. The pot I use is just about the right shape and size and after a fair bit of practice I've found a grip which works well for the load to eliminate flashing. Having said that it's near on impossible to load an object that size into a hand of my size invisibly (if you know what to look for you can see a flash in the clip) but as James Brown says, no one ever spots it. After all they're expecting something completely different, some folk have said they think you're going to produce another coin or summat, so the jam just fries them. I spose any other irrelevant object would get a similar reaction.

That DVD is truly worth it's weight in gold, that trick and brainless travellers went down a storm t'other night.

Very very good, nice one! I like it. As said, slight flash when loading the Jam but no one would ever notice it.
