Do a search on 'lennart' - this was answered recently.

Try Ian Kendall's disk if the tips in the other thread don't help.

PS Why not say 'hi' and tell us about yourself in the Introductions forum?

The pinkey pulls sharply on the inner corner of the deck to flick the card off the deck. Pressure from the thumb and forefinger pinching the outer end of the deck is important in making this work properly.

May I echo the request not to make a tutorial on TopShot.

First off, it will take a long time to 'master' the move; you may be able to get a card off the deck, but it will take a few years of using the move to be able to recognise the various bits that go together to make it work. Unless you have a lot of teaching experience you will probably end up confusing people.

Secondly, this is Lennart's move, and is not public property to teach as and when. I took the time to write to Lennart to ask permission to teach the move, which he granted. This is not the same as teaching a pass, or a DL.

Apart from that, give the move the practice it deserves and you'll do fine. It's something that can really impress laypeople if used carefully and sparingly.

Take care, Ian
