Oh dear ........ oh dear

Postby moonbeam » Sep 1st, '06, 10:33

Note to Mods - I wasn't sure where to post this, so feel free to move this to the appropiate place if it's in the wrong section

Anyway, all I can say is "Oh dear, oh dear", someone is going to be VERY disappointed

I just saw this trick being advertised on Ebay http://media.putfile.com/7-7-7-7s-29

..... and the bid is ...... £16.99 (plus £1.95 p&p) at the mo lol

It's not the seller's fault if people bid stupidly on such a simple trick - I'm sure 95% of the people on here that watch it, will suss it out

Opinions? Worth the money? Well I personally think that the buyer is gonna be VERY disappointed when he receives this lol

All I can say is "Oh dear, oh dear  "

EDIT: There's still over an hour and a half to go yet so I'm gonna watch this in "My Ebay" and see what the winning bid is

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Actually it is the seller's fault IMO - let's face it, I doubt many people from TM are going to be buying this. It's probably going to be relative newcomers to the art who may be quite impressed by that. The price seems relative to the effect and method, so they may assume that they get more than what they receive.

Their money would be better spent buying RRTCM and they would be able to do similar things with a whole deck!

EDIT: Please do let us know what the winning bid is - I'm quite interested now! How many have there been at the moment?

 That really is rather weak. Some of my toughest test specs would be down on it like a ton of bricks.

Hmmm, I feel somewhat stupid now :/ after not being able to figure out how that was done =(

Although I will not be paying money for that, particulary off of ebay

*Tut tut* I cannot belive people would sell 'tricks' like that full stop, let alone for £16+.

The trick could be figured out by quite a lot of specs i know aswell, and i feel that the majority of the trick was just pointless, becasue its just such a anti-climax, and really quite dull.

Just my thoughts.

Also can you please let us know what it finally went for,

P.S. - is this being sold be Vagas Cool????

Basically the magi has four 7's and the spec takes one. Spec replaces the chosen 7 back in with the other three 7's and then mixes them all up and returns them to the magi. The magi then determines which 7 the spec chose - ta da

Vegas? More like Peterlee...

mind you, if someone were to sell their own trick and warn that it relied on a pass, I bet the muggles would wilfully ignore that part of the description and be all cross when they couldn't perform their 20 quidsworth of instant miracle.

Well - I've waited and waited to see if feedback was left for such a "splendid" trick and finally over a month later, they've both left feedback for each other

I'm guessing that some kinda partial refund has been agreed upon - why else would it take so long - especially as the buyer has been leaving feedback for other people :?

Buyer left for seller: Nice doing business with.
Seller left for buyer: Great Ebay buyer.

Ahhhh, well at least now everyone's happy
