Embarrased, but need opinions.....

Hi Guys

I've never written to you before like this, but I really do need your advice on what could be a crucial decision.

I've suspected for some time now that my bird has been cheating on me.

The usual signs. The phone rings, but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife
has been going out with the girls a lot recently, although when I ask their
names she always says, "Just some friends from work. You don't know them."

I sometimes stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always
comes walking up the drive as I hear the sound of a car leaving, around the corner, as if shes got out and walked the rest of the way. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi at all?

I once picked up her mobile phone, just to see what time it was. This caused her to go completely berserk. She quickly snatched the phone out of my hand and cursed me hysterically, screaming that I should never touch her
personal property. She then accused me of trying to spy on her !

Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife. I think deep down,
I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and
I decided to really check on her.

I decided I was going to park my vectra next to the
garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the street around the corner when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my car that I noticed a large amount of engine oil leaking from the sump.

So, is this something I can easily repair myself or do you think I should take it to a specialist ?
:D

Please accept my most sincere condolences on your devastating personal situation. Take the car to a specialist, it's always best to let the experts deal with such matters :D .

Indeed. A leaky sump nut can lead to a complete seizure.

Lol n1 - I've seen this somewhere before, but it still had me fooled right up to the last minute

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I think honesty is the best policy on these delicate matters. Don't confont her but sit her down and try to talk to her about your relationship and where your both going in your lives. Try to let her bring up the subject herself in a gentle way.
If you are right she is proberbly feeling confused and guilty. I know that people put in this situation may not want to talk and it is a bit of a long shot

but if she confesses to sleeping with a mechanic perhaps you could get the car fixed for free?
