So aside from my awful humour hehe:

Using the B.P to produce a card seemingly from thin air (it could still do with some tweaking but I think I'm getting there) I can get one to appear...The trouble comes with making it disappear again. Anyone have any tips on how to do this? ( Obviously without revealing ;) )

Thanks :)

Just the exact same thing but backwards. Also if you wave your hand or make a movement it can hide what you are doing.

Pretend you're throwing it up in the air... look up as you move your hand upwards for misdirection then do the move.

Look around for it as if it's gone then produce it again. Magic!

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

If you want to learn more card manipulation, i would recommend 'The Art of Card Manipulation' dvd set from Jeff McBride.

Ranging from simple effects to very hard card manipulations, like the split fan productions, which let you pull fan after fan of cards from thin air, rather than just one card. But you will also learn how to produce more than one card, and how to vanish them again.

If you are willing to put a lot of time and practice into it, this is a must have collection of 3 discs.

I do it the same as a coin, under the motion of making a fist.. and then throwing my hand upwards. Making a fist looks as though you are holding it at your fingertips while u get it into b.p ( under motion, fist closing as hand moves down ) then thrust your hand upwards
