Hi Fletch,
Kolossal Killer III on Larry Becker's Mental Masterpieces DVD is absolutely amazing and that uses a Himber wallet.
The effect is this: A spectator mentally visualises burning an entire deck of cards, except one. The card he is left with, which he mentally selected (no deck is used), is found to match the prediction in the performer's wallet, which has been in the spec's hands all along.
Oh yeah, and Chronologue, by Bob Cassidy, also uses a Himber I think. Again it's a card prediction, this time using a freely selected date and a pocket diary with cards written in each day. The effect is on his Mental Miracles DVD and I believe in his Art of Mentalism book (although that's worth checking before you buy).
If you have a Himber that allows you to peek at information on a business card then the sky's the limit for mental effects. You could be telling people their pin numbers, their grandma's birthday, their favourite flavour of crisps - whatever you want!
I know these have more of a 'mentalist' flavour than the effects you mentioned before, but they might be worth investigating if that side of things interests you.
Hope that helps,
Mathew.
