Hi there. My name is Chase. I'm 19 and I've recently found that I've got entirely too much freetime, and nothing to do with my hands.

Recently, I've been using cards as bookmarks. When I read, I have a tendency to spin and twirl it from finger to finger, and I do the same with coins. When I work with my hands, my mind calms a bit, and that's a nice feeling to have.

Been looking around and haven't found much online, other than constant references to Bobo's book, which I haven't quite bought yet. Seeing how I love forums, I though it'd be a nice place to start here.

That's the nutshell.

thats me in a nutshell

I think you find constant references to Bobo's book because that is the best place to start with coins.. a bit like you start at Genesis with the Bible if you are to understand it.

Hi and welcome to TM

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Hello Baldur and welcome to TM.
Nice to see that you have picked an authentic Icelandic name as your username.
I don't know how much you are into the Viking religion, but Baldur was the God of peace and light. He was the only son of Odin and Frigg.
Best greetings from Iceland!

That's exactly why I picked the name. Lately I've been obsessing over Norse mythology. I debated on going as Odin to a Halloween costume party, but decided no one would know who I was trying to be.

I've always been into Norse mythology, but recently I've been reading more about it and I really enjoy it. Thanks for the welcome, and glad to be here.

That's cool!
Actually the names Baldur, Freyja, Óðinn, Þór, Laufey, Týr, Borghildur, Freyr, Njörður, Signý, Sindri and Völundur (among many more) are quite common "christian" names in Iceland and I know at least 3 guys that have the name Baldur :)
