Whats this deck called?

Postby lozey » Oct 25th, '06, 21:54

I am after a forcing deck that has normal indices in one corner and all the same indice in the other corner. Its used in Banacheks Psi series. Can anyone tell me what theyre called please or where i can get one from?

I don't think I know of perhaps the exact deck you are looking for, but the sneak a peek deck is probably suitable for what you want to achieve. The cards are effectively split down the middle lengthways. I won't say any more without exposure.

I'm struggling to remember the effect Banachek does with this. Is it the phone number one?

However, I'm certain he would have named the type of deck he uses, so just watch it again!

Unless, of course, you don't own it. :)

Its the stigmata effect on psi series volume 2 and you can force a card using the svengali deck

it is the stigmata effects hes doing. He definatly doesnt name the deck, he just displays it at both ends and descibes it. It definatly isnt a svengali

I believe he calls it a one way forcing deck and I didn't say he used a svengali deck I said you could use a svengali deck

It isnt a one way force deck . I have a 2 of hearts one. Its like a regular deck with pictures and pips and regular indices at one end, then at the other end its all the same indice so the spectator just lifts up the edge and peeks where ever they want and still gets the seven.

I just watched the stigmata effect on the dvd again and he's not using a forcing deck on that one I got it confused with phone psychs which he does use a forcing deck but he says its not necessary if you know how to force a card.

Although not the perfect solution, you can make this type of forcing deck up with one half of a "1-way" deck and one half of a normal deck...and some adhesive...

Dead of Night by Andy Nyman is worth getting for this kind of thing or see his dvd Get Nyman to find out how to make a fake indices deck.
