I thought I'd follow protocol and introduce myself. I've been lurking for about 3 or 4 months now. This has been a good forum from me. I found a magical society to join from here.

I got into performing around 2002/3. I really enjoy Card Magic(close up). I've performed in the streets of Shibuya in Tokyo and also in Yokohama(near the station). I perform for free just for the rush of it. I've never accepted money(I'm not that good).

My strongest influences would probably be Oz Pearlman, Jay Sankey and Tomohiro Maeda.

I intend to contribute from time to time.

Thanks in advance for the warm welcome.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

No idea sorry. You'll have to give me more information. Is it recent? I ask because there are a lot of magicians in Japan that perform on TV. The magic boom was just starting to cool down when I left in April this year. If it's close up and it's recent, it's probably Tomo Maeda.

Actually I thought this Asian Magician made up this trick..
But in the event of trying to find the video.. I found that Chris Angel performed the same effect :)

I haven't figured out the name.. but that trick is so awesome!

Konnichi-wa jericbilo and welcome to TM.
Watashi-wa Icerando-jin desu :)

I'm wondering if the magician that Henk was asking about isn't the magnificent Cyril Takayama. This is a vid where dove, lemon, orange and egg are involved. :D

Best greetings from Iceland!

here's Tomo Maeda's profile for those interested. Unfortunately, he doesn't have as many vids on the internet that I know of.
