I finally got around to registering on this forum, after using it as my little secret review center for the latest and greatest in modern card magic. I appreciate your efforts in keeping us hobbyists informed on the state of the industry.

I'm 24 and live in Orlando, FL. I certainly hope another yank on the forums won't be considered an invasion. I've worked with card magic since I was very young, and constantly amuse myself with gambling sleights and the sort, oftentimes performing improv for peers at the clubs and bars locally. I'm rarely seen without a deck of cards, mainly due to the soothing personal misdirection it gives me when I'm working. (It's confusing, I know, but I'll explain some other time.)

Good to meet you gents. I'll be lurking, occasionally giving advice or petitioning suggestions from the many here I can learn from.

I have not been given the impression that our presence is anything other than welcome. There are very few magic sites worth going to, and I tried to find US based ones myself in the hopes of locating fellow magicians in my area but I have found the best discussions here.

Hi and welcome! Although we're based in the UK we seem to have attracted quite an intertational membership which just proves how magic can rise above mere geographical barriers. If only politicians would follow our example !
