I am Moyz, I am 32 years old from Canada. About 3 months ago I was on a flight to Las Vegas and the airline steward was preforming magic. I was completely amazed and hooked ever since. I have been reading posts on the site for about a month(reviews and stuff). Any advice is very much welcome! Thanks

Hello Moyz, bonjour!
Welcome to TM.

Wow... that sounds like the best place to perform magic! No matter how much you suck, the audience is not going to walk out on you! :P

A very good place for newcomers to start, is Royal Road to Card Magic for only £7.45 which equals about 16.- ImageCAD.

Best greetings from Iceland!

Welcome, and I second Gunnar's recommendation (I just sent a copy to my brother).

Hello and i wish you luck on becoming a good magician. I have heard that the royal road to card magic is really good and should be bought. Also, i have heard of something called card college or something of the sort. Ive heard it is really good as well.

Card College is also quite good, but it is a five book set and RRTCM is just one book. I recommend Card College, but I would recommend RRTCM first so as to limit the expense incase it is decided that another branch of magic is more to the person's personality.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
