Hey, my name is Stephen(call me Steve) and I've been into magic for about a year now, moslty card magic, but that is begining to bore me. I want to make a move in to street, coin, and object magic, and this looks like the pefect place to do so. I hope y'all can be friendly, adn plz, I want some constructive critisism.

Well i can say for myself and some of the other members ive encountered, you will have no problem finding friendliness here. Just remember to respect the rules. But i too like card and street magic. All i have to say is make sure you have a good performance and get the audience into it. Well i hope that i could help more, but you are probably better than me. I hope that you have fun in this forum.
Also you will have no problem getting advice from this site. A lot of these magicians are very very good and are among the most friendly people i have met.

better than? I doubt it. I've lost my touch after I could find no good street magic help, with technique or anything. I can do some card teleports, in to other people's pockets, stuff like that, but nothing special. Street magic expertice includs a very small list:
vanashing needles and toothpicks
coin movements, easy stuff.
I hope to become SOOO much better here, with all the new tequchines and things i can learn.

helpping each other out sounds cool. I'm from the USA, COnnecticut. There's nothing real exciting about this place, except for the Amusement parks, and the great taste of Mountain Dew!(not being paid to advertise   ) lol

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
